Gite Booking Terms and Conditions |

- The Property known as Les Chenes is offered as
a holiday rental subject to confirmation by the owners.
- To reserve the gite, clients should complete the attached booking
form and send it to Ste Anne, Les Chenes, St Dolay, 56130, France by post.
Following receipt of the booking form and the 25% non-refundable deposit,
confirmation, receipt and an invoice will be sent to the client.
- A refundable security deposit of £ 50.00 will be due on
payment of the balance. This amount shall be returned to the client within 15 days
of the holiday end, less any outstanding charges (linen, logs etc). excess
cleaning costs or significant breakages. This deposit shall not limit the
clients liability to the owners.
- The balance should be paid in full not less than 8 weeks before
the start of the rental. If payment is not received by the due date the owners
have the right to give notice in writing, that the reservation is to be cancelled.
The client is liable to pay the balance in full unless the owners can
re-let the property.
- Clients are advised to arrange comprehensive travel insurance
to include cancellation cover, and insurance for personal belongings and public
liability, as this is not covered by the owners.(don’t forget your E111
available free of charge at the post office).
- The rental period starts from 2.00p.m. on the first day and ends
at 10.00a.m. on the last day, unless by prior arrangement.
- The client agrees to be a considerate tenant and ensure all members
of their party take good care of the property and leave it and its contents
in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental. The owner reserves
the right to make a deduction from the security deposit for excess cleaning charges
and significant breakages. See 3. above
- The client should report immediately of any breakdown of equipment
or appliances, so it can be dealt with as soon as possible.
- The owner cannot be responsible for:
- any temporary stoppage or defect to any public service to the property.
- any loss, damage or injury from adverse weather conditions,
riot, war, strike or any other events beyond the owners control.
- for any loss or damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the clients if the property was to be destroyed or damaged before the start of the
rental, in that case the client would be informed and a full refund would be given.
- Under no circumstances will the owners liability to the client exceed the amount paid to the owners
