| Our Brittany Gite - Les ChenesTHIS & THAT Included in the cost of your holiday at ‘les Chenes’ is accommodation for up to 5 people (4 and a little one), gas for cooker, constant hot & cold water and electricity. We also supply – pillows, duvets, blankets (should you need them), pillow & mattress protectors, bath mat, tea towels and hand towel. For your peace of mind (and ours) the gite of ‘les Chenes’ is equipped with smoke alarms and fire extinguisher. We have a baby cot & bedding, high chair, stairgate & pushchair available. We are happy to lend these to you but it would be helpful if you could book them in advance. Linen hire is available at 10 euros per person. This will ensure your beds are prepared, with freshly laundered linen in advance of your arrival at ‘les Chenes’. A minimum of 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel per person will be awaiting you in the shower room. Please note SouthBrittanyGites does not supply beach or garden towels, don’t forget to bring your own. We will meet you at your holiday cottage to ensure all is well. Along with your key you will receive a welcome pack of goodies, giving you the chance for a drink and a bite to eat whilst settling in for what we’re sure will be a most enjoyable stay at ‘les Chenes’. ‘les Chenes’ has private off road parking for 2 average/normal sized cars. ‘les Chenes’ has a selection of videos, dvds, games, garden/beach toys, books, maps and of course tourist information leaflets for your enjoyment. The gite of ‘les Chenes’ is equipped with its own washing machine, rotary airer (and pegs) freestanding airer, linen baskets, laundry basket, iron & ironing board. SouthBrittanyGites supplies all the cleaning products and equipment to keep ‘les Chenes’ spic & span. But if you don’t fancy spending the last morning of your holiday doing a thorough clean through of the gite, why not book our cleaning service, 40 euros. No Problem, but please do book in advance. TIME France is one hour ahead of UK time throughout the year. French summer time starts on the last Sunday in March at 2am and ends on the last Sunday in October at 3am. MONEY Credit cards and debit cards (Visa/Barclaycard, Mastercard, Carte Bleue, and American Express) are widely accepted throughout the France. Knowing your PIN number is useful, but if you don’t have your PIN, have your passport with you . We also recommend that you carry a bit of euro cash, sufficient for tolls, parking, refreshments, etc Cash dispensers will dispense money that has the same international symbol as your card. OPENING HOURS Most shops and supermarkets are closed on Sundays. Many shops, with the exception of the larger hypermarkets, have a lunch break for about two hours.!
